We originally wanted to raffle off three. Then there were so many applications, so many heartfelt messages, so much genuine enthusiasm, that we simply couldn't decide. In the end, it was five. Five XXL frogs with crowns. Five new homes.
Theobald, our green, crown-wearing mascot, has accompanied Princess Goes Hollywood for years. He stood in showrooms, sat on trade fair chairs and watched customers try on clothes. Now he has moved on - to our retailers, who applied in a small competition to give him a new home. And we think: he couldn't have chosen better.
Here are his five new homes, and five places where you can experience Princess Goes Hollywood in person.
Bolzi kleidet fein - Flims-Waldhaus, Switzerland
Theobald is now in Graubünden, and that fits better than you think. Bolzi kleidet fein is run by owner Gina Fenner, and the motto of the house hits the nail on the head: "Fabric should not only be worn, but experienced." That's exactly Theobald's philosophy too. He experiences. He observes. He reigns.
If you're in Flims-Waldhaus, stop by. Theobald will greet you personally.
La Boutique Mabillard - Crans-Montana, Switzerland
Right on the Place du Marché in Crans-Montana, in the heart of the Western Swiss Alps, Theobald has found his second new home. La Boutique Mabillard is part of the family business of the same name, which has stood for quality and a personal touch in Crans-Montana for generations.
A frog with a crown in one of Switzerland's most beautiful market squares. We think: that works.
Donna - Ludwigsburg, Germany
The picture that Donna from Ludwigsburg sent us made the whole team laugh, and was a little touching. She sits next to Theobald, beaming, and her homemade sign says: "Thank you, dear Princess Team."
Dear Donna: thank you too. It's for moments like these that we do this.
Trendline - Ortrand, Germany
The pictures from Ortrand show Theobald at his best: upright, dignified, king of the shop. The owner poses with him, laughing, he looks stoic. A classic duo.
Trendline in Ortrand, Brandenburg, carries Princess Goes Hollywood with conviction. If you're in the area, you now know: there's a frog waiting there too.
Der Modeladen - Herborn, Germany
Herborn, Hesse. Theobald stands there between clothes racks and accessories, looks into the camera and appears as if he had always stood there. Der Modeladen has given him a place of honor, and the photos show that he accepts it.
If you haven't been to Der Modeladen yet: a good reason to change that.

Theobald reminded us of something we sometimes forget: that behind every shop there is a person who passes on our collection to their customers with conviction. This is not a given, and we are grateful for it.
