*Brushed Wool:
A special brushing process is used to roughen the fine fibers of the wool. This gives the sweater its particularly soft, fluffy surface and a pleasantly warm feel. Unfortunately, a certain amount of pilling or shedding cannot be completely avoided with a specially roughened quality. Due to the brushed surface, there are more loose or excess fibers on the surface of the garment, which may shed, particularly at the beginning.
New clothing may therefore pill or shed more initially than a garment that has already been worn and washed several times, as the excess fibers reduce over time.
