*Brushed Wool:
A special brushing process is used to roughen the fine wool fibers. This gives the sweater its particularly soft, fluffy surface and a pleasantly warm feel. Unfortunately, some pilling or shedding cannot be entirely avoided with a specially roughened quality. Due to the brushed surface, there are more loose or excess fibers on the surface of the garment, which may shed, particularly at the beginning.
New clothing may therefore shed or pill more initially than a garment that has already been worn and washed several times, as the excess fibers decrease over time.
A first gentle wash according to the care label can remove some of the excess fibers, so that the shedding usually subsides over time.
