Fluffy brushed wool* sweater. Round neck and long sleeves. Ribbed trims.
Brushed Wool:
A special brushing process roughens the fine wool fibers. This gives the sweater its particularly soft, fluffy surface and a pleasantly warm feel. Unfortunately, with a specially roughened quality, a certain amount of pilling or shedding cannot be completely avoided. Due to the brushed surface, there are more loose or excess fibers on the surface of the garment, which can come loose, especially at the beginning.
New clothing can therefore initially pill or shed more than a garment that has already been worn and washed several times, as the excess fibers reduce over time.
An initial gentle wash according to the care label can remove some of the excess fibers, so that shedding generally decreases over time.
